Over the years I've been a guest on Matt Barton's Matt Chat show several times, and I've always enjoyed our talks. This week he invited me on to talk about my forthcoming book about Heroes of Might & Magic, but as usual we sidetracked into a three and a half hour discussion that covered everything in my career including game development in the 90s, New World Computing, Betrayal at Krondor, the 30th anniversary BAK party we held up in Eugene in 2023, working with Chris Taylor on Dungeon Siege, writing Swords & Circuitry, my favorite made for television horror movie Gargoyles, the noir horror short The Case of Evil that I made with Jana Hallford, and last but not least my slowly gestating indie remake of Planet's Edge.
