PRE-ORDERING
The Dark Horse product page has links that will allow you to purchase it from all the major booksellers ranging from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, Indigo, Bookshop.org, and Indiebound.
My personal preference would be that you pre-order from Magic City Books in my hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and their link is here:

COMIC-CON COVERAGE
During Comic-Con, I hosted a panel about the anniversary of HoMM and was joined by Mark Caldwell, David Mullich, and Phelan Sykes, all of whom worked on the Heroes of Might & Magic franchise during its formative years at New World Computing.
Mark was involved with the game the longest, having been the first employee of New World Computing, founded by Might & Magic’s creator Jon Van Caneghem. (Jon was originally slated to be with us, but was prevented from joining us due to a travel conflict). Mark would go on to become vice-president of New World Computing, and programmed the game King’s Bounty which was, for all intents and purposes, the first Heroes of Might & Magic game just with a different name.
David Mullich and Phelan Sykes came aboard for the making of Heroes III which was the most successful version of the game published during the New World Computing era, and the version by which nearly every successive sequel has been judged by fans.
The panel was very well attended, and out of the 500 seats in the room, most of the seats were filled with enthusiastic fans.
Later the same day Dark Horse, the publisher of my bookabout the history of the game, hosted a signing for us in their booth (at one of the largest and most prominent booths at Comic-Con) in the Exhibition Hall. They prepared a large stack of pre-sale cards for us to sign for fans, but to the great surprise of all of us, we ran out of cards at the very end of our signing.
One of the panel’s very favorite visitors was a young lady who arrived in a custom-made wheelchair, made up to look like a Battle Cat from He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.
Following Comic-Con, I wrote a thank you note to all the people who were involved in arranging and supporting the signing. I received a very gracious note back from Casey Goodwin at Dark Horse.
“It was a real pleasure having you all join us for a signing at the Dark Horse booth. The fans were very excited to have you there and we received so many thank you’s from them for making it happen. It’s very rare that we blow through an entire stock of signing materials during a 50 minute signing, so that proves it was a rousing success. From all of us here at Dark Horse, thank you again.”
