Whenever we put together the first rebooted episode of Uncharted Regions, we were under a bit of a time crunch in order to get it ready for its preview screening (listening?) at the Horrible Imaginings Film Festival. The first episode was incredibly ambitious, requiring more than the usual amount of pre-production, and the amount of time we had for scoring was made all the more complicated because we were recording an original blues tune with all of the people involved in performing it scattered between San Diego, San Francisco, and New Zealand. As a result, I didn’t have time to write an original theme song for the entire series as well, and I used something I bought off of Pond 5 to get us over the finish line in time.
With the official pre-orders for our first episode on physical media opening at the end of this month, I thought it was time we finally had a real theme song that belongs to us, and only us. So without further ado, here’s a little “promo” trailer for the series featuring the new theme (plus a tiny teaser for “Someday, Over You.”)
